Zach Gage

Who knew a single person could be a tour-de-force.  But I think Zach Gage fits the bill.  Primarily known as an indie game developer, he is in fact a “formally trained” artist as well, with sculptures and installations under his belt.

I think I came to know him through Ridiculous fishing on iOS but it seems he cannot stop himself from creating hit after hit. Each new game delivering an interesting take or twist that dives into what that genre of game means or could be.

But it was on this podcast, The Talk show with Jon Gruber, where Zach dives deep into engaging with your audience, whether you are making art or a hit game, which really resonated with me.
