Moritz Stefaner from truth & beauty made this project back in 2016, but it is an excellent data visualization example. Very interesting to see the regional differences and possible language and historical influences. Such a simple idea, but easy to understand and visually interesting. It shows the data well and opens the door for more inquiries.
